This post will be fairly quick:
One of my friends linked me to this site called Ctrl+Paint, which offers a large library of video lessons on how to paint digitally, and so far it’s looking real promising.
“Concept art is the coolest job ever.” says Matt Kohr, the site’s founder, “And unlike a lot of professions, the barrier to entry is more straightforward than you might imagine.”
Kohr goes on to explain that these barriers to entry are becoming less of a hindrance what with technology and other things being more affordable—the only thing left was the art education.
